My first matchbox, really, I just had fun playing... I just couldn't get a good enough picture of it. The first one doesn't really look like it should but I really like it too! LOL!!!

This was so much fun and I really enjoyed doing this. You cover a match box with clay and then decorate the inside and outside making sure that it will fit (sanding) and then a little more...LOL!

Francis Jeanette (Vales) Chenowith My 47 year old sister passed away March 28, 2008...They had a memorial for her in MI.. and last weekend we had one in AZ. Her life was fraught with pain and anguish...She gave us her love and smiles and 3 Children and another's son who she raised from a baby. She was so very loved and will be missed.


This is to my sister Jeannie

Although we maybe parted now,

You fought so valiantly the demons of the past

2 Birthday cards!!

Here is the cards I was working on and I used the CardMaker magazine to make them from!

I know that I have too much in the cards background I'm going to have to study really hard on how to take better pictures. I had fun making these too. I hope they liked them as I'll probably never hear if they did...they're to my stepdaughter and step daughter-in-law.

Playing time

Iris Folding Duck that I printed out was spied by the 3 yr.old Jonathan and wanted me to make one well I've been printing these out for at least a year now and never made one so now I have and they're lots of fun to do...

The Heart is for a swap online for Tami and I had a lot of fun doing it. I've used Polymer clay glitter,beads, mica/pearlex powders, and paints.

Today I'm making Birthday Cards ... Hoping to get started on the Charmed One doll that is about ready to be put together...

I'm here in CG I've brought Kari home to mama Brandie (above) and she is glad to be home.

The Michaels has opened here and I'm going to check it out on the way home today... LOL!!!

Welcome Spring Card

Spring card swap to Linda F. I used cardstock, special papers (cut out flowers and glued), die cut lettering, clay, beads, angelina fibers and glitter....it was alot of fun to put together and make. Made me think about spring and all that it brings.

Mattie is growing up faster than you can snap your fingers , he's 7 months he wants to stand and trying to sit up but doesn't want to be put down so he can learn to crawl...LOL!

Patterns from

both Sherry Goshon and Fruitful hands I purchased and recieved over the net today. The One from FH is a Easter Chick Egg that was free and the other by Sherry is a Mannequin for the Shaya head mold that I bought from her....

I need to get some things made and I'm going to take a class at "ThatCreativePlace.com" starting tomorrow it's "Encased Hearts" made of Polymer clay.

I have a couple pics of Jonathan working in the studio with me, and the card that I was working on for my daughter-in-laws Birthday it's a little late but hopefully she'll still want it....

Cardinals

The Quail and Dove and other birds have been joined again by the arrival of the Cardinals... They are so pretty. They come and stay every year at this time and the hummingbirds will start coming round too! All year round the roadrunners come round.

Last year I planted raspberry, blackberry and Kwiw vines but the squirrels and goffers and rabbits got them before they could get established...I'm going to try planting in containers this year and see what happens...

Of course the resident squirrel who comes up on the patio/porch will try his best to get at them I'm sure...

The roadrunner picture is off the net and the other one is of the entance to the property and the and tree is a mesquite but there are quail galoure that live in a around this area and in the spring the little ones follow the mama across the road to the other side, it is so cute..

Good Day to you, today brings my daughter Brandie back home with her two daughters.

They'll be staying with us until her apartment becomes available.

She'll get the girls enrolled in school and get settled temporalily in here...
