Everyday in May

This is the First drawing for June 2. I decided to try to draw everyother day in June so it won't be so furious and I can possibly spend more time on a project and do a couple other types of things.

This is an African violet plant that survived out of four and it bloomed this year. W/C pencils in journal.

This next picture is of a scene from a calender picture from Kauai Island.
Derwent pencils in the journal.

I caught this picture of Casie at the Sink last Christmas and it was mostly in shadows...This is a different approach using watercolours and 140 lb. watercolor paper.

This is a Conche shell done with Watercolor pencil in my journal that I've come to find a real challenge in it's self to paint/draw in.

This is a Rose from my Garden Pots I took a pic and then scanned it in and used my photoshop to make it look like a oil painting and it helped me see the different values that was in the Rose ...

Again I made a 4 pieces on cardstock they printed out really well.... to make cards for Mothers Day for all the daughters...

This is the First page (Catching up the ones that I missed... am using the ATC Book Journal pages as one of the days May #2) watercolor painting done with Watercolour pencils & paper for the Every Day in May Challenge. Everyday in May #7

Here is a graphite pencil drawing of Frida Kahlo from an online picture that I'd found. I really want to paint it in watercolor but I think it would look more approriately done in Acrylics.

EveryDay in May 6

This pic was done freehand with MaimeriBlu watercolours... and it got away from me so I just played around with pen and glitter to define it more, it was done on a ATC size watercolor 140 lb. paper...Not so good but was still fun.
I'll probably mount these pics in a collage type framing...
I've also decided to go ahead and do 1-4 days which will be interesting.

Matchbox swap

Daughter Casie and Grandma Lillian Romero with Grandson Mattie.... :~)

Surprize in the box...

My first matchbox, really, I just had fun playing... I just couldn't get a good enough picture of it. The first one doesn't really look like it should but I really like it too! LOL!!!

Matchbox Swap

This was so much fun and I really enjoyed doing this. You cover a match box with clay and then decorate the inside and outside making sure that it will fit (sanding) and then a little more...LOL!

Francis Jeanette (Vales) Chenowith My 47 year old sister passed away March 28, 2008...They had a memorial for her in MI.. and last weekend we had one in AZ. Her life was fraught with pain and anguish...She gave us her love and smiles and 3 Children and another's son who she raised from a baby. She was so very loved and will be missed.

This is to my sister Jeannie
Although we maybe parted now,
Your still in my heart.
You fought so valiantly the demons of the past
That thrust it's way into your life.
You can now be at peace, in
Gods loving embrace.
I'll miss your sweet smile and loving spirit.
Your Sister,
Linda Kay

2 Birthday cards!!

Here is the cards I was working on and I used the CardMaker magazine to make them from!

I know that I have too much in the cards background I'm going to have to study really hard on how to take better pictures. I had fun making these too. I hope they liked them as I'll probably never hear if they did...they're to my stepdaughter and step daughter-in-law.
