This picture of the school of bottle nose dolphins was from the Mutual of Omaha 2003 calender.
Done in the Inktense watercolor pencils and WC paper.
Well... I tried to do some holly hocks and I'll be doing this again from the picture that I took of them! I know that The scan didn't do a good job. Derwent watercolor pencils and WC paper
I gave Lillian this picture of them they were from her front yard.

Sunday kickin'
Yesterday was our 17th wedding anniversary we went to dinner at a local mexican restraunt very good food, and then watched two DVD's Rush Hour 3 and Ace of Hearts. Both were fun to watch. I made Davids' card (my own design) and he gave me a beautiful Hallmark card.. and also a beautiful Rooster Cookie canister (that matches other things that he's bought me for the kitchen decorations.)...
I also made his Fathers Day Card which I used a Design by Tami Mayberry from the CardMaker newsletter...that I subscribe to. CardMakerMagazine.com
This is a recent picture of Casie and the boys... Jonathan 3 1/2 and Matthew 11 1/2 months

Everyday in May
This is the First drawing for June 2. I decided to try to draw everyother day in June so it won't be so furious and I can possibly spend more time on a project and do a couple other types of things.
This is an African violet plant that survived out of four and it bloomed this year. W/C pencils in journal.
This next picture is of a scene from a calender picture from Kauai Island.
Derwent pencils in the journal.
I caught this picture of Casie at the Sink last Christmas and it was mostly in shadows...This is a different approach using watercolours and 140 lb. watercolor paper.
This is a Conche shell done with Watercolor pencil in my journal that I've come to find a real challenge in it's self to paint/draw in.

Post for ED in May 10th and 11th
Well this is Mattie with his other Nana Lillian liking that hat putting it on and off...
He now is 10 mnts. has two bottom teeth and every once in a while you catch him standing alone but hasn't taken that first step yet.
This is a Rose from my Garden Pots I took a pic and then scanned it in and used my photoshop to make it look like a oil painting and it helped me see the different values that was in the Rose ...
Again I made a 4 pieces on cardstock they printed out really well.... to make cards for Mothers Day for all the daughters...
This is the First page (Catching up the ones that I missed... am using the ATC Book Journal pages as one of the days May #2) watercolor painting done with Watercolour pencils & paper for the Every Day in May Challenge. I'll be putting it together like a scrapbook. I've been having a lot of fun with this.

ED in May 7 and 8
Everyday in May #8 This is a watercolor pencils picture of the AZ Desert Bird of Paradise that is right out my front porch...it was really nice to sit out on the porch this morning and do this.
Everyday in May #7
Here is a graphite pencil drawing of Frida Kahlo from an online picture that I'd found. I really want to paint it in watercolor but I think it would look more approriately done in Acrylics.

EveryDay in May 6
This pic was done freehand with MaimeriBlu watercolours... and it got away from me so I just played around with pen and glitter to define it more, it was done on a ATC size watercolor 140 lb. paper...Not so good but was still fun.
I'll probably mount these pics in a collage type framing...
I've also decided to go ahead and do 1-4 days which will be interesting.
